Bark Mulch: 100% Softwood bark, aged up to 25 years in an unprocessed stockpile creating a mulch that is pH neutral with a natural, unirform "rich cholcoate bown" color and early aromas. Made from hemlock bark with some spruce and fir. Ground and screen to 2" ( - ). ( fmi visit northlandbark.com )
Loam: A mixture of clay, sand, and silt. 2" screened $20.00/yard, or 1/2" screened $25.00/yard. Commonly used for soil enrichment, moisture retension in garden beds and lawn installation.
Compost: A mixture of decayed organic matter. Commonly used for fertilizing and enriching soil. We offer Earthlife Organic Compost - a material produced throughout the northeast that offers consistent quality, high organic content, microbial life and valuable slow-release nutrients. Suitable for vegetable gardens.
Loam/Compoast Mix: Blended here at our farm, a mixture
of 2/3 loam, and 1/3 compost.
